English:
1. 7-word summary test is tomorrow. Review all of the summaries you have done thus far plus all of the examples I have given you.
2. The formative book talk will take place on Monday. Use the framework (given last week) to put down your ideas in point form - this is not a memory exercise: you are to engage the audience using a conversational tone. Take some time to get to know the different components of the rubric; it's a behemoth, and I want you to know exactly what I'm looking for. Finally: any book you have read since September 2014 is fair game, provided it isn't one you have re-read from previous years.
3. Elective forms...
MATH: 1. The 5.1- 5.3 math test came home today; it was a difficult test (they asked me to write that).

1. We continue our 7-word summary unit. Test will be early next week.
