1. MATH: Before we move on to our next unit, we will examining the Golden Proportions and the Fibonacci sequence. If you have any experience with this, take some time to share what you know with your child tonight. If you have never heard of this before, and you have a bit of time, explore some of the amazing facts available on the web.
2. Math: the 9.6-1.4 test came home today. Please take a minute to look it over with your child.
3. During today's broken lit log test, I had students go into the hall (individually) and read their written responses aloud to see if there were any errors. I'm curious to see how your child felt about that experience: did it help? Were there changes that needed to be made? Why does this help? (I asked informally and every single student who came back in said there were changes to be made). This is an excellent dinnertime conversation!
