What a terrific first week! I'm very glad to be working with all of your children. We will have no math homework until the online textbook codes are given to us (hopefully very soon). In the meantime, shoo your kids outside while the good weather lasts!

5. Discussion point: when you have a moment, ask your child for his or her thoughts about the "value" of an individual: can we say that some people are "worth" more than others? (this is in context with a short story we read).
