It is indeed good to see so many returning faces...

8L:
1. Only a couple of people still need to bring money for agenda and the arts package
2. Many parents still need to complete the forms contained within the "School Start Up Package".
3. We began our first math unit today: Adding positive and negative integers.  Over dinner, casually ask your child: "Hey, if the signs between two integers are different, which way would I go on a number line?"  After the initial shock wears off, your child should say: "Well, seeing as they are different, they are replaced with a negative, which means moving to the left on the number line."
4.  No Math homework as we had time in class to complete the bulk of it
5. I handed out the course pack in English class today: if you are interested in seeing some of the work we will be doing this year, have your child take you on a tour of its contents.
6.  Scholastic orders will be due the last week of September
