Due to absences, we couldn't do one of the sensory journeys today.  It will be re-scheduled for early next week.

MATH: we wrote the 7.4-7.6 Geometry test.  Now on to Data Management!  Again, if you have experience with excel, show some tricks to your child.  

ENGLISH: we are preparing for our first book talk (any novel read since September).  Your child should have chosen a book and he or she should be spending time becoming intimately acquainted with its contents.

ENGLISH: tonight, your child will have to prepare the background (title, author, and brief summary) for one of the short stories read in class.  He or she will present it tomorrow (30-35 seconds).

MATH: we wrote a quiz for 5.3 (stem-and-leaf plots) and it will be coming home tomorrow.  We will be writing a test for 5.1 - 5.3 early next week (Monday or Tuesday).
